Eidfjord Hotel has a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Eidfjord. Free private parking is available and the hotel also offers bike hire for guests who want to explore the surrounding area. We arrived when the restaurant had just closed. But since we were so hungry and simply wanted spaghetti with tomato sauce the cook decided to still fix something up for us. We enjoyed dinner with a great view! The staff is friendly, helpful, and very attentive. We also liked that they offer a charging station for electric cars. (Though it would be even better if there were more in case one is taken) We are very glad we stayed here instead of the other big hotel in Eidfjord which had a huge cruiseship in front of it the next morning.

The view, the quirkiness, the fact our kids could slide on the site was a highlight! We used our drone from a higher point, 15 min walk from the cottage to film the kids and the view was absolutely amazing! The fjord was stunning! We found food at the local supermarket only a few minutes away by foot. The service station makes nice coffee which I grabbed early morning and off i went for a walk, full snow and freezing temp but it was a delight!

With an idyllic location by the Hardangerfjord, this elegant hotel features traditional décor, a waterfront garden and free Wi-Fi. The impressive Steinsdalsfossen Waterfall is a 5-minute drive away. Huone oli erittäin puhdas ja siisti. Aamupala herkullinen ja tosi monipuolinen. Aamupala oli katettu kauniisti. Ruokailutila oli kaunis. Pöydissä oli valkoiset liinat ja oikeat kukat. Maisemat olivat rauhoittavan kauniit. Henkilökunta kohteli meitä hyvin.

Fossli-hotelli sijaitsee myöhäisen 1800-luvun Art nouveau -tyylisessä rakennuksessa, josta on näkymät Mabo Valleyhin, ja se tarjoaa ilmaisen Wi-Fi:n ja huoneita, joissa on oma kylpyhuone. Food was great, both breakfast and dinner. View was amazing. Rooms were very clean. The place is exceptionally well located. The perfect spot. The building has so much character. You feel the history and it is very special.
