The property has quiet street views and is 40 km from Monastery of Alcobaca and 24 km from Peniche Fortress. The property is non-smoking and is situated 600 metres from Obidos Castle. Location, living both in & out. Living room, bedrooms with air-conditioning, heat, kitchen, back terrace, 2 bathrooms...everything we needed. Close to the town center. Clean and nicely decorated. TV easy to operate.

This is an incredibly charming house built into the rocks of Monsanto. it's decorated in a retro style and I appreciated the touches like an old fashioned sewing machine and old fastioned fridge. The beds were loaded with multiple layers of warm quilts and were super comfortable. Enjoyed looked through the old portuguese books. Favorite things were the cat that visited the terrace, the friendly caretakers that live beside the location, and we were welcomed with a wood-burning stove that was warm and cozy. There is a small terrace with a small door to access it (door tto terrace requires you to stoop to access terrace but the atmosphere and view is worth it!). The terrace is charming and has an incredible view over the village and over the landscape. NOTE: the house doesn't have a house number so I'm attaching a pic of the door. The owner sends a very clear description of where to park and how to get to the house.

With inner courtyard views, this accommodation provides a patio. Parking on-site is available and the holiday home also features bike hire for guests who want to explore the surrounding area. This spacious house just outside the walled city of Óbidos was a comfortable and beautiful place to stay. The host, Tiago, met us as we parked (right in front of the house) and gave us the keys. He also walked us through a map of town and recommended places we should see, not only in Óbidos, but also in nearby towns. He also helped us make a reservation for dinner that night. The hosts have relationships with other businesses and craftspeople in town so many of the products in the home are locally-sourced. Since we only stayed one night, we didn't relax in the home as much as we could have, but the location was perfect for walking into Óbidos. Mood Lodging - Óbidos would also be an easy place to stay for a couple days and explore nearby towns by car.
