The self-contained unit we stayed in is very comfy, especially the room bed and the sofa in the living hall. The room size is good for our family of 4. We can see Mt Ruapehu clearly behind our room. It is a 10-minute walk to the bar & restaurant from our lodge. In addition, it is just a 15-minute drive to Whakapapa village and another 15 minutes to drive up to the Skifield carpark. This is one of the best lodges we have stayed in New Zealand.

We had a fantastic stay at this motel! The room was enormous and featured a massive spa right in the bedroom, which was a luxurious touch. It was within walking distance to all amenities, making it very convenient. The owners were amazing, incredibly helpful, and knowledgeable about the area. Highly recommend!
