We were a family with two granddaughters 3 & 5 and the staff went over and above to make the children and us feel welcome and pampered!! The manager Madhawa was kind, helpful, efficient and very competent!! Pradeep and the other young men took us on tours and wanted to feel at home and showed us the beautiful surroundings of the hotel! We went on an all inclusive plan and loved it!

Boasting views of the lake, all units in the property come with private entrance and a pool with a view. Featuring a private bathroom with a bath and a hair dryer, units at the villa complex also boast free WiFi, while certain rooms have a balcony. At the villa complex, every unit is fitted with bed linen and towels. Very spacious, suitable for 4 member families! I like the design of the bungalow. The bathtub is nice! Curry is nice also. Recommend Jackfruit curry! And also the coconut ice cream, I haven’t tried anything like that before! It is a pity that we can’t stay longer!

Clean, comfortable cabin with beautiful gardens and wildlife. We had already booked a safari but later found out the host also conducts safaris.

(Don't believe a word of the negative rewies - it is made by negative personalities, for whom everything is not good enough!!) This place has the most lovely, helpfull and caretaking staff, I haved ever seen. Amila is allways trying to keep all guests satisfied, in anyway. He came with fresh coconuts, when we were in the clean pool cooling. Everyday Amila is coming to every cabana with incense sticks against mosquitoes, and lighting candles everywhere. The few understandeble houserules regarding preordering the food, is remarkable good due to the really freshness of this! Everywhere its clean- outside in the cozy areas, and in the cabanas as well. All the place are maintained. The cabanas are big and cozy, and gives you a clue of the nearby safaris. Peacocks, monkeys and wild animals can always be heard from the associated big terraces. The cabanas has a tuk-tuk service, that can bring you into town and back, really cheap and fast. Richards Cabanas are truely "Peace, love & harmony"! Biggest recommendations to this place!!

This villa was beautiful and huge with a great pool. Fahim was great for helping us organise a driver, safari tour and meals. The owner Sabirah was also amazing at setting everything up.

Their hospitality and kindness were truly exceptional, and we especially appreciated their thoughtfulness in accommodating our vegetarian diet. They organized our safari seamlessly and made the space incredibly comfortable. Anusha’s husband is an amazing chef, every meal was a delight!

The villa serves a buffet and à la carte breakfast and breakfast in the room is also available. Saman is a very peaceful and friendly guy! Also he is a very talented artist and craftsman ! He build both of the tree houses and nearly all the other things by himself! He made us very good and rich breakfast. Both of the treehouses are so beautiful, clean and comfortable. We didnt miss anything in the houses. The garden is so nice. His son himanshu informed us about everything in whatsapp. He organized the safari for us and it was amazing. We had good luck to get the good driver Tesanda. He has experience of over 15 years and we where lucky to see leopard, elephant, crocodile and much other animals. We also highly recommend laith the tuktuk driver. A childhood dream came true to sleep in such a nice treehouse. Thank you for the unforgetable time. Tobias & Chiara <3
