In my villa type, there was a huge bath, a private bath deck to cool off on, a sauna, and a massage chair. It was all enjoyable and extremely high quality. The floors in the living room could be heated and there was A/C in every room. They even included 5-7 free drinks in the fridge! The appliances in the kitchen were all so high quality, including a microwave/oven/grill, rice cooker, nespresso pod brewer (coffee and decaf provided), and dishwasher. There is a washer/dryer combo as well (drying does take <4 hours). There are some food options available in the vending machine area, like instant curry and rice. 7 minute walk to station, 5 minute walk to supermarket. This place was SO thoughtfully designed. 100%, I’ve never been in a nicer accommodation. I even got it for a great price in January (54,000円 for two nights, number of guests didn’t raise the price). I’d stay again. And again!

The property could easily accommodate a family or small group and is great value, therefore. Don't hesitate with this one, as you won't be disappointed! The only downside is that the local eateries when we visited (early April) close relatively early, though you can stock the fridge etc and you have all the implements you need to cook and eat. Oh yes, I nearly forgot the natural and private hot spring bath - a great bonus!!! A very comfortable and relaxing stay in a quiet and small residential area with a helpful and thoughtful owner.

For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. It's super clean and new (very clean!). It was very quiet and peaceful. The kitchen appliances were complete and beautiful. The entire house was nicely designed. Very open concept layout and spacious. The balcony was outstanding for breakfast on a sunny day. Check in was smooth and parking was spacious.

The property is located 2.4 km from Nikko Toshogu Shrine, 20 km from Kegon Falls and 2.9 km from Rinno-ji Temple. Ryuzu Waterfall is 25 km away and Urushi Museum is 600 metres from the holiday home. It was a wonderful experience over there. The land lady picked us up fron Tobu station and was really friendly and guide us which places we should visit. We were amazed by the wooden work of the the cottage.

Guests at the holiday home can enjoy hiking nearby, or make the most of the garden. We had a wonderful stay here. The owner lives downstairs but he keeps away unless you’re checking in or out. Upon arrival he greeted us with orange juice, a map of the area and recommendations. Daily amenity refills provided, rooms cleaned. Rooms comprised of a twin and tatami/futon room (all upstairs). A wonderful, quiet area very close to all of the action in the World Heritage Area. By booking this property your money goes directly to locals instead of corporations. Experience the real Japan.

Mr Kotobukisou is very responsive host whose always help me from the booking moment until my arrival. It was just as simple as clicking numbers on the lock and get the access card. So Simple It was loaded with everything that I need.. Literally everything. If you wanna stay there all day, its fine, cause you will fine anything you need in that house, including disposable brushes, cotton bud, wet tissue, spoon, fork, chopsticks, coffee, hojicha, green tea, sugar.. like .. everything. even mr Kotobukisou prepared any detergent and tools for wash our clothes. Its really amazing. They have 2 bathroom, a cute tea pot (which is maybe used for tea ceremonial), TV, futon, extra bedding, AC, hangers, even they provide portable wifi. Mr Kotobukisou and family lives in the same building so they help me a lot when I was confused how to use washing machine and shower spray. Surrounding we can find small cafe (western) and also local restaurant. We tried a small bake house called Adaru Bake. Their muffins so delicious. and there are small souvenir shops around it. There are two shrines as I recalled around it. Very near Sendagi Station and few minutes walk to Lawson Since our flight back home was on noon, we spent all morning just walking around Mr Kotobukisou place.. Its so relaxing ..
