But what truly made our stay unforgettable were the hosts, Eddy and Patricia. They went above and beyond to help us with anything we asked, no matter how big or small. They thought along with us, shared laughs, and made us feel completely at home. At the same time, if you prefer more privacy, this is still the perfect place. You can retreat to your own space where the only “disturbances” come from the cheerful calls of birds or a little greeting from a gecko 🦎. Truly a gem on Karimunjawa – we’ll never forget this experience.

The Borobudur and Siddharta suites have a shared restaurant facility and pool. Thanks to location high on a hillside the view was stunning! Wonderful ambiance, exclusive, quiet and cosy. The exterior and interior of my beautiful Queen Maya room with canopy bed and traditional Javanese wood carving was amazing. I got the most personal and warm welcome with detailed walk-through of my room by the nice young man at the reception. There were local snacks in the room incl. snake fruit only found in Java. There were pretty kimonos with traditional pattern in the closet. Dinner and breakfast were delicious and beautifully presented. A lot of emphasis on traditional Java culture like instruments and figures. Everything was perfect down to the softest towels. Loved it all and would love to come back.

Because the location is a bit secluded, a private tour is truly private. At the snorkeling spots, we were by ourselves, and the corals were the most beautiful we’ve ever experienced. There are a couple of restaurants nearby where you can order food. For us, this was convenient, as we are a family with two young children. The rooms, the garden, and the beach are private and beautiful. (First time I’ve given a 10 as a review score)

Quirky back to nature concept surrounded by beautiful nature with basic facilities but adequate. The breakfast is a special homemade sweet snack and basic coffee and tea. They clean and maintain the area everyday. They provide kayak, snorkeling facilities but we didn't use it. I would also recommend you to do diving at Kemujan Divers nearby for once in a lifetime experience to see the colourful fish and corals
