Definitely recommend booking Brook Cottage if you’re in the area… it’s in a stunning location with wonderful views and yet still incredibly close to amenities, pubs, cafes and the Picturedrome. The attention to detail is fabulous and it’s clear the cottage has been lovingly renovated to deliver all the cosiness you’ll love, with a modern twist. We were particularly touched to see milk in the fridge and snacks in the cupboard, and the number of USB chargers around the place worked well for us too. The property is spotlessly clean and tidy as well as very tastefully decorated - a real home from home.

We stayed for just one night, but everything was absolutely perfect. The house was very well maintained and fully prepared for guests. The owner really went the extra mile – providing toiletries in case someone forgot, as well as tea, coffee, and cereals. You can see that a lot of heart and effort has been put into this place. The bathroom was spacious, the beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed. We also appreciated the detailed instructions on how to get to the property, as well as the information card inside with useful details about the house (WiFi, heating) and local activities. There’s also a yard with benches, which makes the stay even more enjoyable. A wonderful place – highly recommended to everyone!

it was on a farm yet close to all sightseeing and family in Leeds . it was lovely and warm and cosy and very clean . Leanne was fabulous and made sure everything was fine . it was private yet not too far from anyone if you needed anything . Cottage was lovely. Beautifully decorated and comfortable with everything we needed. Location was perfect for us- great walks in area: on the moors, Chevin woods, both recommended. Local pubs provided good food. We had a lovely, relaxing stay. Glorious weather was an added bonus. Highly recommend.
