The cottage is perfectly located close to the entry in Aberfeldy, 3 min walk from the grocery shop, 10 min walk from a golf field, 5 min walk from an adventure organizer (rafting, canyoning), 15 min walk distance from Dewer whiskey distillery and having lots of good restaurants around. Free parking space in front. It was clean and spacious and provided us with everything we needed. Easy pick up and drop off of the key from the hotel bar on the opposite street. Very friendly and professional staff.

The owners care about restoring the natural environment, which is noticeable. On the one hand, living away from the city, on the other hand, a great starting point for exploring Scotland by car. I would recommend for a wilderness escape as well as a place to spend the night while exploring the Scottish countryside.

The location was perfect, quiet, and comfortable for sleeping, with a short 10min walk to all amenities, restaurants, shops & parks. Walking to the central part of town might be difficult for some due to the hilly area. Parking was perfect with a gate to the driveway. The carriage house has everything needed for short or long stays, I would definitely stay again when I'm in the area.
