All the info was very easily laid out and the house was super clean. The wood stove was all set up for us upon arrival and worked very well. Hot tub was incredible after a long day of hiking in the Cairmgorns and was very easy to use singlehandedly. Kitchen was well stocked.

The cottage had everything we could have wished for. The bay window in the living room gives stunning 24/7 views on the hills, and the hundreds of birds feeding on the bird feeders in the garden. The really! free range chicken occasionally say hi, and we enjoyed their eggs every morning. The utility room is accessible for the guests and has a deep freezer, fresh eggs (honesty box), games & dvds, and a washing machine (with soap pods, provided). We followed a hike path recommended by the host toward the nearby summit, with a 360° view on the Glenlivet Estate.
