This is a cute, comfortable, well-remodeled home in a convenient part of Sao Miguel. We stayed as a family of 4, and my daughter said it was her favorite stay ever. The outdoor garden and showers are a nice touch coming back from the nearby beach. The host Ines is a wonderful person and was so helpful, she gave us directions, fresh bananas from her tree, and even helped get us an item we had left behind!

I cannot recommend it highly enough. As the very first guests of this new hotel, we were treated with exceptional care and attention. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. They welcomed us warmly, making us feel right at home. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, offering a perfect blend of modern amenities and the natural beauty of the Azores. Our room was spacious, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The hotel’s commitment to family-friendly service was evident in the little touches, such as a crib for our baby. The location is fantastic, with stunning views and easy access to the island’s many attractions. In summary, our stay in Sao Miguel was extraordinary. We are already looking forward to our next visit! Thank you for a truly exceptional experience.

The host was very communicative and friendly. Questions were answered promptly and she also sent a message just to check in, which was lovely. The property was perfect for our family, as we have 4 young children. It was equipped with everything to accommodate that including crib, potty seat and high chair. The yard was huge offering lots of room to play...my kids loved the soccer net, swings and ping pong table.

This place is an absolute gem! The house is stunning, the location perfect, and the atmosphere peaceful. The heated pool with ocean views was easily my favorite part. You’re just a short drive from Ponta Delgada, 5 minutes from Populo Beach for surfing, and within easy reach of the whole island. Plus, there are two natural pools right next door. Everything about our stay was incredible. A huge thank you to our host Teresa, for making everything about our stay so special. It felt like a home away from home. I couldn’t recommend it more!

The house was super well-equipped : we had all the kitchen tools necessary for cooking, even saran wrap and tupperwares for the leftovers! The beds were super comfortable with air con remotes in every room to adjust the temperature. We were traveling with a baby and toddler - there were blocks and little farm animals to play with, comfy couches as well. The host was very reactive when we had questions about the town (asking about food delivery) as well as issues during the stay (stove was not working, they fixed it within the hour). We had so many towels, beach or shower, and dishclothes for the dishes! There are never enough in those places usually, so this was a super plus for us.

Casa Cayenne is such a cozy and great place to stay at, it is really close to Ponta Delgada center by car, and you have everything you need to relax and enjoy your stay. Plus it's on a pineapple greenhouse plantation, making it super unique! The garden on site from which you can pick herbs and salad is a really great addition, as is the pineapple culture tour given by Luis. Luis and Noelia are such great hosts, super welcoming ! Communication was fast and easy. Would recommend to anyone wishing to spend a few days on Sao Miguel Island.

The apartment was very clean and very well equipped. There were everything we needed for our stay. Fully equipped kitchen, beautiful and tasteful decoration in all rooms, great beds, ocean view... and located next to superb seafood restaurant! The parking behind the apartment. Pedro and his wife were extremely helpful and welcoming. The location is great with free parking. The house was well equipped with everything you could possibly need. I found the beds super comfortable, admittedly my husband thought they were too hard. Ah well...:-) Loved our stay and the Açores of course!
