We had a great time at Liyara Villas. The area was quiet, peaceful, very close to a Buddhist temple. The apartment was confortable, very clean. The hosts were really kind and helpful - they prepared dinner for us, as all the restaurants were closed due to Public Holiday. Thank You so much for a fantastic time at Gampola!

Amazing stay. The place is absolutely gorgeous. A villa immersed in nature, with a little river passing under the dining room - loved the relaxing sound. The staff is very kind and prepares delicious food, ingredients are fresh and everything is made with care. Overall, I definitely recommend it, especially if you are a group of 6-8 people to have the whole villa by yourself

A beautiful hotel in a renovated colonial building, everything refined to perfection, great service and amazing food, prepared from their ecological plantation, even the coffee served with breakfast has a wonderful taste and aroma and comes from their plantation. A very nice manager full of kindness, elegance and class. All the staff pleased us. Interiors made of the highest quality materials, beautiful swimming pool with a view. Surrounded by nature. You can relax wonderfully in this place.

Amidst green lush hills you find this wonderful old planter’s villa that constitutes the main house of this beautiful resort. We spend some lovely relaxing days here over Christmas time. Thilan, the manager, is very friendly and so is his staff. He took us for a walk through the garden and for a trip to see an old temple nearby with astonishing drawings and gave us suggestions for local walks. Our kids loved the pool overlooking the hills. We highly recommend this resort.

The atmosphere was very peaceful. Rooms were very clean and they balcony views were amazing. Thankyou for the amazing breakfast by Chef Danuka. The manager Brian was very welcoming and made sure we had everything comfortable on our stay. Thankyou for the life time experience.

Very peaceful, in nature and very exquisite. Sandy is great and the cook is really good. Everyone is very friendly! You will get an amazing breakfast with a great view. The room and bed were great and I can totally recommend this place! Very clean place also.

Everything was perfect! The place was clean has a very homey vibe. Host Nalin made our stay more memorable and enjoyable.     The owner Nihal met us at a point when we lost our way and Nilanthi, Nihal's wife met us at the villa and gave us a very warm welcome. Both Nilanthi and Nihal are excellent hosts as they provided us with everything we needed and always enquired of our needs. Nilanthi even helped me a great deal to organise a lunch party to my relatives. We parted as friends and we will definitely stay at Villa Kresilda on our next visit to Gampola. Loved the Garden and outdoor dining.

    Accommodation at Kresilda was the best we have had in Sri Lanka. It is beautiful villa with garden. Kresilda welcomed us warmly. We would like to come back 🙂
