It’s so peaceful and calming, right on the lake. Micheal the owner checked on us now and then as we were 5 females aged 16-65 on our own we really appreciated that !Lovely kind man! It was large, clean and really well equiped. We were met by Hazel , she was so sweet and had the cottage heated and welcoming, even a nice welcome cake.

Jerry and Isabelle the owners were amazing, couldn't have been more helpful and left things like eggs, milk, bread for our arrival. They even bought us some soda bread and potato cakes which was completely unexpected because my wife mentioned it in chatting, which was an amazing personal touch. Looking out at cows first thing in a morning and last thing at night was lovely. Great, quiet, location within 10 minutes drive of Castlerea with a supermarket and a few nice pubs for food. Two minutes drive to one of the major roads straight into Dublin made travelling very easy.

Dream Cottage is exactly what it is called a dream! Totally loved the place. It had everything we needed and fab comfortable beds. The outside area is brilliant, especially for our wee dog who had lots of safe space. Would certainly recommend and would love to return.
