We have stayed at this property before so we knew what to expect. It is very clean, with comfortable beds. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils, dishes, saucepans etc. The best bit is the log burning stove which belts out such heat. So comfortable to relax each evening in front of a wood burning stove! The bathroom is large. The shower is also large with plenty of hot water. Nice fresh clean towels too. Useful storage room upstairs. Central location in Birr.

It was the loveliest cottage i have ever stayed in. It was warm cozy, very comfortable. Every single thing from the sofas to a frying pan was of excellent quality. Very easy to find in a lovely place, a short drive to find the local town for shopping banks etc. We shall be booking again next year and probably every year thereafter on our annual family gathering. The cottage owner was a phone call away if we needed anything or any probelms.

A great location, to base ourselves and very accessible to all the areas for our self-drive site seeing. The Townhouse was in walking distance to shops, pubs and historical sites. Ger, our host was fantastic. A very knowledgeable and welcoming person, we were made to feel like family. He went above and beyond to make sure our trip was relaxing for us. Ger sourced various sites and attractions for us to visit. He was in contact with us during our stay giving us updates on places to visit as well as checking on the accommodation to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. Banagher is such a beautiful place to visit, and the township members were very welcoming and made us feel as though we belonged there. A place very rich in history.
