It was perfectly positioned on the edge of the old town. The layout was funky, with a bedroom loft, kitchen, spa and balcony overlooking the church. Our hosts could not have been more welcoming and did everything they could to make our stay wonderful.

Where do I start? we had a week in Crete and stayed in 6 different places including Rethymno, Heraklion, Agia Pelagia and Chania. This residence was our last night in Crete as we were flying from Chania back home. Everything was perfect for us. The hosts were super accommodating and allowed us to check in much earlier. The whole place was spotless, super clean and as we were the 3rd guests everything was very new and pristine. The hosts provided luxury bedding, towels and every toiletry you can think of, including toothbrushes and toothpaste. The shampoo and conditioner provided left my curly thick hair feeling so soft and smooth that I will be buying it myself!! the facilities in the kitchen left me feeling inadequate for my own kitchen back home! Everything and more is provided. The marble detailing in the bathrooms are stunning, the beds are comfortable and there are plenty of sofa options to sit on. However the best thing about this place is location. Slap bang in the middle of the old town chania harbour. The views are to die for. There are many vantage points. one smaller balcony at the front overlooking the harbour and old town, where you can sit to drink your morning coffee. Then there is another terrace at the back overlooking the old town hustle and bustle. Then there is a huge rooftop terrace with outdoor kitchen, tables, chairs and a gorgeous hanging egg chair. The views you get across the harbour to the lighthouse are literally post card perfect. Stunning. to top it off we saw the giant turtle in the harbour on our last night which was magical! Thank you for a wonderful stay. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Dimitris is truly a five-star host! We had the pleasure of staying in a marvelous place. The house was excellent—clean, comfortable, and very well equipped. The location was perfect: a peaceful heaven just 10 minutes from the center of Platanias and its beautiful beaches. Communication with Dimitris was excellent from the very beginning. He responded promptly to our initial inquiries, provided clear and detailed instructions before our arrival, and stayed in contact throughout our stay to ensure everything was going well. We highly recommend Elaida House to anyone seeking a relaxing and high-quality stay! Dimitris, thank you very much for this amazing experience. It was a pleasure meeting you and your family. Our experience in the Amare Suite was simply fantastic! The suite was not only exceptionally clean, but also offered an ambience in which you could immediately feel completely at ease. The pool was a real highlight - beautifully designed and perfect for a relaxing break. The kitchen was superbly equipped and left nothing to be desired. The location of the suite was also ideal for exploring the surrounding area and relaxing in a peaceful atmosphere. Special thanks go to our hostess, who was not only extremely nice and accommodating, but also made sure that our stay was unforgettable with lots of little touches. We can highly recommend the Amare Suite and are already looking forward to our next visit!

The location is perfect . X4 different beach coves all within east walking distance . We preferred the iguana beach , calm sea and great for snorkelling. The villa is great with on sweet bathrooms and comfy beds all modern . Living space is large with open plan kitchen Pool area has sun light all day and also has a large table in shade which is great .
