Maybe two cars passed the road during the day, just two farms few hundreds meter nearby, but you are there alone with beautiful view of peaks. Fully equipped, comfort bathroom, living room with equiped kitchen, outdoor seating and own parking. Just to come, stay, read and relax. 20 minutes by car to Buxton or Leek in case you need to see people and shops.

We had an amazing stay for a family christmas , the host were amazing and only ever a message away for any info needed . House was lovely and we had the added bonus of a christmas tree in the lounge . Location was perfect and so convenient for the town . The hosts literally saved our christmas after another property in leek cancelled our booking in November after we had had it booked for a year. We can't recommend this property and the team enough .

Lovely little character cottage in a quiet village location. Comfortable beds and nice bathroom. The bathroom is downstairs and the bedrooms upstairs up steep, narrow stairs no it might not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues. The washing machine was very useful and the croissants and breakfast items provided were a lovely addition. The host Christine was very kind and helpful in answering my questions and making sure we had a convenient parking space on the street outside. It was convenient for attending a wedding at Foxtail Barns and we had a lovely stay.

Excellent little lodge! Very nicely decorated and super clean. All the toiletries available so no need to take your own and so are the towels. Nice and cozy with a log burner available. We checked in on valentine's day and so we were surprised with a lovely bottle of prosecco. Also the lodge is in a great location with a beautifully kept garden. Would 100% recommend it!
