It has a perfect location especially if you are doing the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route. It's literally in the Dentetsu Toyama Station. The staffs are kind and friendly and they gave me free tram tickets when I left my luggage for storage even before I check in. It has good amenities and it even has selection of shampoo and conditioner in the lobby where you can take amount in your room. They even have a pen to mark your resealable bag. Appreciate this attention to small details.

A 2-minute walk from Toyama Station, Comfort Hotel Toyama welcomes guests with complimentary coffee, free WiFi and a free breakfast buffet featuring freshly baked bread rolls. Facilities include drinks vending machines and a launderette. The location is super convenient, right by the station. They offer complementary refreshments in the lobby which was great. The breakfast buffet was really varied and super good. The room was great, slightly older but with everything we needed; fridge, electric kettle, tea, coffee, amenities, AC, black-out curtains, humidifier/air cleaner and a really comfortable bed. We also had good views over the city. They offer luggage transfer service, but note that it's overnight, so those doing e.g. the Tateyama Alpine Route wanting to have the luggage transferred to the next location within the same day are recommended to use the Tateyama Alpine Route luggage transfer service available at the Dentetsu Toyama station. The staff was really friendly and attentive.
