There is a lift, free car park, it's very clean and the staff is super friendly. Castel del Monte is a tiny historical town, a perfect location to explore Campo Imperatore and surroundings. I definitely recommend it!

Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant, as well as a meeting room. Peaceful oasis on the hills! Everyone in the Convento was so helpful and kind. The view is exceptional, overlooking the old gardens and down into the valley. Breakfast was particularly impressive with a huge range of options including local meats and cheese, all very fresh. I loved that almost nothing was in plastic compared to some of the places we stayed on our trip. I've seen other commenters disappointed in the 'upkeep' of the gardens but I'm happy to see they've turned most of the old gardens into a rewilding project for a butterfly garden. Much nicer than manicured lawns in my opinion!
