We were greeted by the owner's two teenage sons. Clearly managers in training. The kitchen beside the pool was well equipped for our breakfast of cold cereal. There is a hot plate and BBQ which we did not try out. Both beds were pushed against the walls. We were able to move the double bed away from the wall and use the side chair so both sides of the bed could have a bedside table of sorts. Towels are thick, soft.and absorbant. Shower is slow to heat but then warm.

Set in Playa Sámara, 35 km from Nicoya, Villas Verdes boasts air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi throughout the property. Free private parking is available on site. What an exceptional pleasant surprise! From checking in till checking out. Our villas/units were fantastic. Serviced every day by the most friendly housekeeping staff and the villas are very well equipped. Front of house staff - Aáron, was super helpful and professional. Swimming pools and gardens look and feel like paradise. It is safe and very close to the beach. I can absolutely recommend Villa Verdes. Will definitely visit Sámara and this establishment again. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Casa Buenavista is located in Carrillo, 300 meters from the beach. It offers air-conditioned rooms in a tropical garden. Very well maintained property, quiet, friendly hosts, beautiful outside shower/bathroom, awesome breakfast with gluten-free options, we regretted having booked only one night, truly a wonderful place that we would recommend to anyone who wants comfort, tranquility and yet not far from the beautiful playa Carillo and the super cozy playa Samara, a topper !
