Alex from reception also had great dinner recommendations. The hotel is clean, very central, quiet, close to the main station, and has perfect water pressure. The breakfast is also fresh and super yummy.

Free Wi-Fi and breakfast are included in all rates. The hotel is 15 minutes from the train station by foot or 1 stop with the bus. Clean room and comfortable bed. The staff were very helpful. Strongly recommended.

They feature wooden floors, smart TVs, a work desk, and a hairdryer. the staff were very helpful. i opted for the breakfast one morning and it was a wonderful option to have - lots of choices and delicious, fresh food. the location was easily walkable to many shops and restaurants.

The restaurant Alexander serves Swiss specialties and offers different Pizza varieties and delivery service in the hotel. Great location. Easy to get to the city centre but quiet. Amazing helpful staff that was capable to help in a situation where we needed help.

Handy free Basel card - for free public transport and discounts for some museums. I had a room with balcony, so spent my evening there with a nice view.

The Central City Hotel Rochat is housed in a historic, listed building in the old town of Basel. The accommodation enjoys a central and very quiet location close to the university and the cantonal hospital. The hotel has a small garden and free WLAN. We went for the Christmas market and the hotel was in a great location for this as we could walk to it in around 20 minutes. Also it is very close to the main tram stops
