Excellent location at the doorstep of the José María Velasco metrobus stop, and with a 10-15 minutes walk to the Barranca del Muerto metro station (orange line 7, which works really well). Great room with wonderful view. Nice kitchen and fridge to make you self-sufficient, and great bathroom as well. Free breakfast at reception in the morning. Also within walking distance of the Frida Kahlo museum and much of the rest of Coyoacán, including the nice Viveros park. Pharmacy downstairs and an Oxxo a few blocks south (on the same side of Insurgentes), which was very convenient.

This gorgeous homely property was a delight and Fernando an excellent and charming Host. Only footsteps from the legendary Frida Kahlo museum and a short walk to the centre of beautiful Coyoacán. It was lovely to stay in a more intimate setting than large hotels. All the guests could breakfast and chat together. Giorgio (George) looked after us all at breakfast exceptionally well. Our blue room with terrace was like our own Casa Azul!

Location is great, you are literally around the corner from the Zocalo. The hotel is in a lovely historic building with a huge interior courtyard that was nice to sit in. Room was clean and spacious, shower was hot with good pressure, and the wi-fi worked well. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast is served punctually every morning. I appreciated having filtered drinking water in the kitchen area.
