The friendliness of July , Linda etc. were heartwarming. The bonus was that Linda could reply in our mother-tongue ( Afrikaans) made us feel at home. The food was above expectation. The seafood Chowder and lambshank were 5 star . The breakfast was delightful. The location was historically and phenomenally relevant and picturesque.

I stayed at Klondike House for one night while hiking The Kerry Way. It was a great place to be able to unwind after a long day of hiking. The room and bed were very comfortable and it was very quiet. I had a very good sleep and the breakfast in the morning before I headed out to hike again was wonderful.

We stayed one night while we were walking the kerry way. Our room wase huge and comfortable, private bathroom very clean. Margaret is a very nice lady, we were drenched after a 3 hours walking under the rain and she offered to dry our clothes. Her daughter is a very talented shef, we had dinner at their restaurant and we ate a 5/5 stars past (we are italians, so we can say that the food was really good). They're all so kind and lovely.

- Great location on the Dingle peninsula with exceptional views of the Blasket Islands and Skelling Islands. - Was in Room 1 which was spacious, had sea-facing windows and a largish modern bathroom. - place has a nice sit out with benches that overlook the sea. - Everything is self-service-dining room is well stocked with cereal, breads, fruits. You can also get your own stuff and use the fridge provided for cooling etc./ microwave and burner for cooking your own food. - Not much traffic , peaceful with only the sound of the sea.

Mary and her husband were so friendly and welcoming and accommodated our dietary needs wonderfully.... breakfast was delicious....location is beautiful and ideal for the reason we were in the area and would return with my partner to visit Valentia as just a short drive, cycle or walk to the ferry.....amazing seafood restaurant down the road....romantic as its so tucked away from the busy world.....pictures don't do space of room or views from it justice....looking forward to staying again....
