Great location close to the sea, we could see whales in the bay from our balcony and there were many restaurant options close by. The room was clean, spacious and lovely, the staff very friendly and helpful.

Everything was exceptional! They thought of everything right down to the last detail… a hot water bottle in your bed at turndown to take the damp off the bedding from the sea air. The complementary breakfast was exceptional, I could go on forever!!! Just go and experience it yourself you won’t be disappointed.

The historic and tranquil White Water Farm is situated in the rural Kleinriver Valley, 10 km outside of Stanford and within 30 minutes drive from Hermanus. An absolutely beautiful place. Highly recommend it!

Villa Chad Luxury Guesthouse is located in the Sandown Bay of Kleinmond. There is an outdoor pool and free WiFi access is available. Ernie and Louise were such stunning hosts. Very friendly.

The pretty Abalone Guest Lodge is a 4-star property situated at Sievers Point, directly on the cliffs overlooking Hermanus Bay, an ideal spot for whale-watching. What an exceptional place to stay in Hermanus! The views from both the room and the main terrace are absolutely stunning, creating the perfect setting for a relaxing getaway. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm welcome, and the check-in process was quick and effortless. The service is truly five-star—Jocelyn and Ansley go above and beyond to ensure every guest feels at home. Nothing is too much trouble for them, and their attention to detail is remarkable. The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything you could possibly need. We particularly appreciated the thoughtful extras, like the honesty bar both in the room and by the pool, as well as the availability of beach towels and foldable seats for outings. We also had the privilege of enjoying a fantastic Christmas dinner and lunch prepared by a talented local chef, which made our stay even more special. This property is an absolute gem and comes highly recommended. If you’re looking for a luxurious, welcoming, and unforgettable stay in Hermanus, this is the place to be!

De Kloof Heritage estate is a Cape Dutch boutique hotel and spa , is just a few minutes walk into the heart of Swellendam. It has a 12-metre outdoor pool and spa with panoramic mountain views. A lovely small estate in an 1801 property. Must impressed with Swellendam, a lovely old town with some great buildings. De Kloof had some beautiful gardens and the pool area particularly nice. Breakfast served was excellent. Staff all most kind and delighted, and surprised to have my car cleaned. Quite unexpected. Our room was separate from the main house, all named after a different grape. Sauvignon Blanc was our suite. Huge bathroom. Would stay here again and highly recommend.

Bloomestate Swellendam offers stylish rooms and several sunbathing terraces on its expansive grounds. It features a saltwater pool and in-house beauty treatments. Wonderful property and hosts! Breakfast exceptional and room and bathroom very generous is size. Will definitely stay there again when visiting Swellendam.
