Enjoying a peaceful beachfront location on the white and sandy Chaweng Beach, SALA Samui Chaweng Beach Resort comprises of two buildings. The resort features luxurious pool villas and suites, a signature 'moon pool' that overlooks the sea and a romantic beachfront restaurant. The spacious pool deck also comes with plenty of sunbeds and a kid's pool. From check in to departure, our stay was just wonderful. The staff were all friendly and helpful. I loved the small but thoughtful touches - the welcome drink and towel, the ability to select our pillows and lotion scents, the sandwich and fruit platter as we waited for our room. Our Garden balcony room was fabulous. It was clean and spacious, though the clear glass tub/shower in the middle of the bathroom space meant that we'd have to curtain it off and only one person could be using that space at a time. The Garden pool was lovely and quiet, while the Beach pool and area was luxurious. We had dinner at The Tent and breakfasts at Sexy Fish and they were wonderful. The breakfast buffet had a great varied selection. The resort is a quick walk to restaurants and the busier Chaweng Beach strip. Loved the location - we walked down the beach for more casual lunch and to get a Thai massage (a must do!). This was our first time staying at a five-star hotel and it exceeded our expectations.

The resort also provides on-site water sport facilities for guests' enjoyment. Everything was exceptional! Staff is extremely friendly and very attentive and they always provide help in no time. Regarding the place, it's magnificent, heaven on earth. Definitely wouldn't be my last time to visit this place.

It's relatively new so everything is in exceptional condition. The staff is extremely attentive and Geared to handle any situation. They were extremely helpful. The facilities are top-notch. The restaurant concept is impressive. The food was exceptional. I am impressed at the consistency especially with the size of the menu they're dealing with.

Dinner was equally impressive, with a menu that beautifully showcased the region's culinary delights. Additionally, the hotel’s location is perfect—close to major attractions yet tucked away enough to provide a peaceful retreat. I enjoyed strolling through the nearby parks and exploring the local shops. Overall, my experience at Ampersand Resort was nothing short of fantastic. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. I can’t wait to return!
