I like how the trash bins are lined with newspapers they carefully made into a bag instead of using plastic bags.

Nothing was too much trouble and everyone was so friendly and helpful. We loved the rescue dogs and cats that are so lovingly cared for. Whilst everyone was amazing a special thanks to Adryan for his fantastic cocktails and the laughs on our fishing adventure. To Lai for her help booking us into the most amazing day tours and Dawn in the restaurant for her lovely service. Everyone really went above and beyond our expectations and we can’t talk highly enough about how wonderful our stay was. The accommodation was so luxe and we loved the outlook from our pool. We can’t wait to come back next Nov with the family.

The villa is gorgeous and spacious. Not too far from the airport and Alona Beach. You can see Alona Beach from the restaurant. The horse riding was pretty great and the horses are very well taken care of. I’ve traveled to so many places and stayed at so many 4-5stars hotels/ resorts, the staffs here is by far the best I’ve seen. Very friendly and attentive. Front desk is very responsive with requests. The staffs even surprise me with birthday cake. I really enjoy all the conversations I had with all the staffs at Donatela. Overall I had a great stay at the resort and felt well rested. Would 10/10 recommend and come back here.

Their team’s outstanding care is what makes Thistle Inn a jewel We thoroughly enjoyed a wonderful stay at Thistle Inn. Locally owned restaurant, boutique-style, with a welcome balance of high end resort and Filipino charm. The property has a pool with a well manicured garden. They prepare freshly made food onsite and make fresh fruit beverages. The menu has limited but well-rounded with both Filipino and western cuisine that are presented beautifully and taste delicious. Our room accommodations were very comfortable and clean. Everyone in our multi-generational party remarked on the high quality of the beds.
