The photos and descriptions don’t do this place justice. Located in a quiet valley half an hour’s walk (or a short drive) from Ollantaytambo the Las Qolqas Eco Resort by far exceeded our expectations. The friendly and helpful staff helped us with all our questions and requests, alongside the manager and the owner of the hotel. They also recommended a Machu Picchu guide for us (Porfirio - charming and very knowledgeable) and helped us with transportation to and from the train station to get to Machu Picchu (included in our room rate). The food on site is excellent, as are the drinks. There are fireplaces in each cabin which they’ll light for you at your request. You can admire hummingbirds from the comfy chairs on your veranda while you can hear the birds chirp and the sounds of the nearby river. We also did a lovely 2hr hike (each way) on an Inka Trail to the nearby Pumamarca Ruins which was amazing and we didn’t see any other tourists the whole way - a great way you get away from the masses. Las Qolqas was easily our favourite place we stayed at in Peru.

The property was amazing and beautiful right in the middle of the mountains . The staff was amazing and went out of the way to help us out with our plans . The restaurant had a great breakfast.

Set in a beautiful colonial property and featuring an on-site restaurant, Palacio Manco Capac offers accommodations in Cusco. Free WiFi access is available. A complimentary breakfast is served daily. Rooms are large, the bed comfy and the view pays for everything. Best location in Cusco indeed. The history of the hotel is amazing too, colonial decoration and artworks exposed were just amazing, it is like living in the palace in the XVII century! The staff was very polite and helpful. The hotel has private parking which is impossible to get in Cusco.

A very comfortable, quaint hotel with amazing staff. It was clean lots of hot water. The bed linens and pillows were very comfortable. Food was amazing. I recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Pisac.
