Also they were super helpful and gave not only us, but also our two dogs, a very warm welcome. The rooms are cosy and clean, the breakfast is amazing and you get a bag for putting together a lunch package. There‘s drinks and coffee free to grab all day without additional costs. And the place is surrounded by stunning nature, especially for bird lovers.

Thermen Bad Nieuweschans offers numerous treatments, baths and massages. The wellnessresort is located a 2-minute drive from the A7 and offers free parking. I arrived in Thermen Bad Nieuweschans about 300 km into a solo bikepacking trip, and instantly made use of the saunas and hot tubs. I particularly liked the unique vibe of the northern light sauna, the scandinavian scenery really adds to the experience. I also had a relaxing massage, tasty coffee with cake and a dinner, and I have to say, I felt fully rested the next morning and could continue on my trip feel8ng relaxed and fresh.

This place is very unique, a beautiful quirky setting in a wonderful area. Wilma was a great host & very proactive with making sure we were comfortable. Would certainly stay again (but for longer next time) & will be telling our friends too.
