Location great with a funicular if you didn’t want to take the stairs up to the hotel. Chaminda the manager was very helpful.

We love the location, the little house is super clean, no mosquitoes and the best natural swimming pool. The food is amazing and the owners very sweet and helpful. We stayed 2 nights and enjoyed it to the moon and back. Highly recommended. Also the organized guided tours delivered more than we could hope for.

The hosts were incredibly kind and made sure we had everything we needed to feel right at home. Would 100% recommend Villa Hillcrest to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in Weligama. It’s beautifully equipped with excellent amenities, including a lovely pool, a relaxing outdoor area, and a charming dining spot. The rooms are spacious, featuring a comfortable bed and a modern, well-equipped bathroom. It is located just steps away from Talalla Beach, a serene and uncrowded beach that felt refreshingly quiet compared to more touristy spots. The owner and staff were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and always ready to assist with anything we needed. Breakfast was a highlight each morning, with a delicious spread that included a fresh fruit platter, toast, and eggs made to order.

The hotel also had a pool table and great music throughout the day. The food was delicious, we especially recommend the Crispy Skin Barramundi! Lastly, the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating to all our needs. Definitely recommend Dots Bay House!
