The Golden Crown Hotel is a 5-star hotel located in Ampitya, Kandy, Srilanka. During my recent stay I had the pleasure of interacting with Taranga, the front office in charge. Their warmth and efficiency made check-in a breeze, and throughout my stay, they were always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests. The reception team as a whole was incredibly welcoming and hospitable, creating a comfortable atmosphere from the moment I arrived. Special mention goes to Roshan the restaurant manager, whose friendly demeanor and attentive service added to the overall exceptional experience. I highly recommend the Golden Crown Hotel for its outstanding staff and impeccable service.

A cabana in the jungle and a swimming pool in addition. Wonderful and nice owner who is very helpful. Dinner and breakfast was another highlight. I can only recommend staying there - it is on top only a 15 minute walk to Sigiriya rock.

The owner of the place and especially her wife they’re really friendly. I was not even going out for dinner, ı was eating at the hostel(she cooks). It feels like a homestay. I’m really happy that ı stayed here on my Sigiriya time.

People! The staff were amazing!! From front desk to the waiters to the room keeping team. I cannot thank them enough for the hospitality shown. The property is exactly as per the images , clean and well maintained. The bed was very comfortable too and room is quite spacious. It is indeed a place I would stay again.

The best part of our stay was the host, who went above and beyond to help us organize excursions and transportation. His advice was truly invaluable. The accommodation itself was nice — clean and comfortable. The spacious yard and swimming pool are available for all guests to enjoy. We didn’t try the food, but the coffee was fantastic! Guests also have the option to borrow bicycles free of charge, which is a great bonus.
