I loved everything about this hotel, the staff at reception are exceptional, warm and professional. We needed to pick some drinks and they arranged for a taxi and guided where to go nearby as opposed to driving to Aqaba CBD. The rooms are spacious, clean and got an upgrade to a seaview room. It was busy but did not feel crowded and we always found a spot on the beach. Everyone was very attentive, especially Justin who served us on the rooftop bar, very knowledgeable of the local area and of Jordan in general. He was very helpful.

When I raised this issue, I was told that all camps follow similar practices. This highlights the need for government oversight to ensure transparency and fairness across the tourism sector. I understand the economic challenges facing the tourism industry in Jordan, but it’s clear that the Ministry of Tourism needs to play a more active role in regulating and organizing the business. Transparency is key—tourists should know exactly what they are paying for, and hidden fees should be eliminated. Overall, while the natural beauty of Wadi Rum, I believe there is room for improvement in terms of clarity, professionalism, and customer care.
