Located in Grindavík, 500 metres from Blue Lagoon, Silica Hotel at Blue Lagoon Iceland features a fitness centre, a bar, a shared lounge and a 24-hour front desk. The staff was extremely accommodating pleasant and kind. The facility felt private. The fact that the lagoon itself was fof guests only made for a wonderful lagoon experience. Perfect place to stay to end a vacation, especially being just 20 minutes from the airport.

This guest house is 20 minutes’ drive from the Blue Lagoon geothermal spa and 10 km from Keflavik International Airport. It offers breakfast from 06:00, plus free Wi-Fi and private parking. I loved free room upgrade so instead of Guesthouse I received a luxury room in hotel. It was super beautiful, extremely comfortable, delicious breakfast and very close to the airport.
