Situated by River Ölfus in Selfoss, Hotel Selfoss has a spa area, which features a sauna, a steam room and hot water tub. WiFi is free. Everything was very clean and the rooms were spacious. I have stayed here in the past for work and decided to bring my dad here while he was visiting. Our room had a balcony overlooking the river and it was nice to sit outside while enjoying an ice cream from the ice cream shop located on the other side of the hotel. We also enjoyed an evening at the hotel spa and highly recommend visiting it when staying at the hotel. There is a restaurant in the hotel and a food court across the street. We would stay here again.

It was remote so you travelled where you would not normally go. The drive there around the lake was spectacular. The spa was inviting and had great views. The room was modern and spacious.
