My stay at parakkat resort was wonderful! The rooms were spacious with stunning views. The hotel's fitness center was well-equipped, and the breakfast buffet was delicious. The spa offered relaxing treatments, and the outdoor pool was really good The activities program was good also, with trekking rain dance camp fire was really good. Plus the gre was helpful and the maintenance team was quick for small issuea we faced.
Overall, a fantastic experience combining luxury and hospitality.

Very relaxing,clean and hygienic place, the staff is the sweetest the receptionist Abin will assist you throughout your stay without hesitation, the spa is a must try for a relaxing massage, Vandana worked her wonders and the massage was a must, the resort manager Sam JV was also helpful and hosted us very well

We moved the beautiful colonial building and the welcome touches when we first arrived. The pool was really a treat when we wanted to escape the hot weather, and we both loved our massages - we left feeling rejuvenated and relaxed! The drinks selection was also great - the mocktails were delicious!

In each unit we were surprised to find 2 big rooms which could easily accommodate 3 guests! There is a bed in the lounge area. And a double bed in the bedroom.
Hotel is quite close to the Periyar shuttle bus stop. An auto rickshaw which can easily accommodate 3 pax charged ₹50/- to drop us there.
Food at the Cinnamon Restaurant in the hotel was very good. We tried the local fish curry which was delicious!
We also used the Spa facility for foot massages which was relaxing after the long Nature Walk in the Periyar National Park.

Resort is in a very green environment. Nice place to relax. Swimming pool is very nice for family and kids. Breakfast is very tasty.
Staff are very polite. Spa service is good. Beach is walkable distance in 10 minutes.
The location of resort is the only drawback as private vehicle is always required to reach the resort.

Hotel has a pool and the price includes breakfast which is healthy and plain vegetarian which was what I wanted prior to an Ayurvedic hospital admission. I did enjoy 3 massages given by 2 staff simultaneously which were relaxing and price varies from 3,250 to 4k rupees so reasonable priced.

We had a fantastic family holiday at Taj Kovalam. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They were very accommodating and it felt like nothing was too much trouble! The breakfasts were delicious and the afternoon tea by the sea was a delightful touch that we looked forward to. The complimentary daily yoga sessions are a great way to start the day and the children enjoyed the evening boat rides on the lagoon. I had a great massage at the spa as well. All in all a fantastic stay. We look forward to coming back soon!

Lovely setting Room had a balcony and was spacious with nice arm chairs to relax in. Bathroom clean and spacious also had good toiletries and a hairdryer. Was nice having a small shop on the premises with a good selection of things to buy without pressure. Lovely atmosphere throughout the resort. Staff very friendly and attentive. Breakfast had a good selection with Indian food and some continental offerings. Fresh juice each morning. We had one dinner there that was delicious.

Nice spacious room, elegant communal areas. Great range of wellness treatments, I.e. massage/yoga. But what made my stay extra special was the staff. I arrived a guest and departed a friend, really I have stayed no-where as memorable ever. Special mention to Ananthu, who was the best host ever! And Dr Ann, Dr Manu and the amazing kitchen staff who served the most delicious food. And also, Maya the yoga teacher. I will definitely return without a doubt.
