The choice of experience available for guests are what you expect however had some unique "estate walk' with a resident ecologist is really makes the experience memorable. While all the staff we encountered were friendly, courteous and helpful, we would like to single out few of them: Lakrani was very courteous, efficient and friendly. She would be easily hired for customer facing work anywhere in the world. Infectious enthusiasm was impressive. Lithin was very knowledgable, friendly and willing to share his knowledge about the property, eco system and his passion readily. Ranjit Kumar Pradhan was extremely friendly, obliging and creative in preparing food of exceptional quality and taste. Wish we stayed more nights to taste his delicacy.

A buffet breakfast is available at Gateway Coorg. We definitely loved our stay at the Aurika Coorg hotel! Everybody was so friendly and welcoming. All the staff made us feel welcome. The resort is beautifully situated in lush green surroundings with amazing views. It even has its own coffee plantation! Our room was big and tastefully decorated. We went on the morning nature walks with bird expert Ganesh who showed and explained to us many birds and plants. In the evening we listened to nature and culture stories also presented by Ganesh. For the Holi festival a great party was organized by the hotel and we had a lot of fun! Food was very good (one evening there was a buffet and the other night a la carte). Also to be recommended is the spa where Nancy and her colleague offer quality massages. We definitely could have stayed longer and I am sure we will come back to this wonderful place!

The staff is very good trained and hospitable. I had a personal contact for the guest experience, name Priya, who made sure we got a A+ experience. Very gratefull to her, the staff and the hotel. It made my husband's birthday extra special. Don't forget to enjoy a nice rooftop diner by night. Amazing experience also.

Even the Farm at the hill is superb and well kept by Laxmi and team. FnB deppt is amazing, staff is excellent like Avi and Manish. Buggy system is very well coordinated and proactive.

Never felt intrusive. The bathtub was actually reasonably sized for man. Bed was comfortable. Everything was clean and not dated. Breakfast was spectacular.
