I have stayed in multiple hundreds or even thousands of hotels in Asia, Mahalaya rates in the top 10. Our stay was nothing short of brilliant. Everything about this hotel we liked. The relaxed atmosphere. The colonial architecture and decor. The floor tiles were amazing. The staff were more than brilliant. Facilities top class. They decorated the hotel with, by my estimate, $40,000 worth of Christmas decorations and the hotel played soft Christmas carols as background music. You could not help but find yourself humming along.

Die Unterkunft Hotel Le Temple Borobudur hat einen Garten, eine Gemeinschaftslounge, ein Restaurant und eine Bar in Borobudur. it’s a new hotel and the amenities were great. we enjoyed lounging by the restaurant pool, the massage and our own private jacuzzi. any time we wanted something we approached the staff and they would make it happen. they were always friendly and professional. The hotel is extremely well run, only 10min walk from Borobudur temple complex. the food was high end, delicious and abundant. Vegetarian and vegan options exist and the staff is well trained in navigating this.

A Wonderful Stay Very cosy and clean hotel. The front desk staff were always helpful and ready to assist with anything. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with a great variety. The pool was lovely, and the location is ideal—just 10 minutes from the temple. The hotel is set within a large park, perfect for familie with kids(was not my case), with great spots for children: a mini zoo, basketball and badminton courts, a playroom, and more. Don’t miss the Patio Restaurant – it was absolutely magical!

It was simply an amazing experience staying at the Plataran Borobudur, just minutes away and overlooking the famous temple. We chose it for our 25th wedding anniversary getaway, and apart from the huge room within its own private sanctuary, private pool overlooking the Jogja mountains and beautiful grounds including a mini zoo, what really blew us away was the level of attention lavished on us as guests. Every request was attended to promptly, with every effort made to accommodate our plans. And the service recovery to make up for some renovation noise around our villa really went above and beyond. Truly outstanding!

I had a wonderfull stay at Puunnee Wild River. My Room "little villa" was superclean an comfi, I had a beatiful view to a flower garden and nature. Everybody was super friedly and helpfull and the food and espacialy the breakfast directly at the river were the best! For a few days out in peace really nice!
