The service is outstanding: we got there at midnight and they managed to have dinner served for us at the rooftop restaurant with a lovely view to the fortress’ wall (btw, food was delicious!). The hotel is located a few steps away from the marina, where you find a variety of restaurants to have breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Five min walk to the pedestrian area with shops and many more restaurants and 7 min away from Kavala’s old town. Due to time constraints we missed the spa, but we are looking forward to a massage in our next stay.

Guests at Vathi Cove Luxury Resort & Spa - Adults Friendly 14 plus can enjoy a buffet breakfast. I have to start with the beach, because it is beautiful! It is a private beach with superb sunbeds where you can relax or swim in the crystal clear water. You can enter the water even without water shoes. The hotel is modern, well equipped and wonderfully styled. The staff is young and attentive (however, a few of them could be more polite). Our room was great: clean and with enough storage place, and it was facing the sea which we loved. It is a perfect hideaway where you can easily switch off and have a relaxed time. The breakfast menu was gorgeous. There is also a gym which is small but functional.

A buffet breakfast is available at Samothraki Village Hotel. The location was lovely, right across the road from the beach. The rooms were spacious and clean, the pools were wonderful, the breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and the staff were fantastic. The family friends we were traveling with got a flat tire, and the staff went above and beyond to help them get it fixed. Adults and kids were equally happy at the hotel, and we would definitely return.

Every member of the staff was attentive, from the reception desk to the restaurant team. Our room was cleaned daily and always looked neat when we returned. The beach area is very accessible, and the water is perfect for swimming. The meals offered a combination of local and international dishes, and we enjoyed trying different options each evening. It felt like a high-quality and well-managed resort.
