Chapter 02 Gallery Suites - ex GD Gallery Suites offers beauty services and free private parking, and is within 3 km of The Palace of Knossos and 3.4 km of Venetian Walls. Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, a lift and luggage storage space, along with free WiFi throughout the property. The apartment features family rooms. Everything were perfect. We did not have breakfast. To go down town you need to go by bus or by taxi.

Breakfast is available, and includes buffet, continental and vegetarian options.

Guests can enjoy the spa and wellness centre, take a dip into the indoor pool, organise trips at the tour desk, or rent a car to explore the surroundings. There are so many things about this hotel that are exceptional, but first and most of all are the people who work there. Such kindness, patience and catering is deserving of more than a 10. And this grade is because of them. Especially I would like to mention Liana who has done everything and beyond to make it a great stay for us. Furthermore, this hotel's location is perfect if you want to have a great relaxing get-away vacation. It connects straight onto a beach and is a short taxi ride to Rethymno core town, or you can have a 30minute stroll down the strand (all the way along the beach). As we expected from Greek cuisine, the food was fantastic, but what made it better was all the options we had during breakfast and dinner time - ranging from savory, both for meat lovers and vegans to sweet (those strawberry tarts were insanely good) a lot of variation every day. We were there for 10 days and never got bored with the food (actually gained some nice sea-vacation weight :D ) The hotel has a modern design, which might for some things be limiting, but it s nothing that the hotel's staff cannot take care for you, so you can have the best holiday stay! The catering is professional and amazing, from the hotel area to the double pool area and straight down to the beach. You can lie down comfortably in sunbeds, get your cocktails served directly to you and enjoy the sun and seaairwithout moving a finger, and have your perfectly deserved lazy vacation. Speaking of Sun, Rhetymno must have some of the most beautiful sunsets in the world - don't miss out on sitting at the beach in the evening, with a glass of vine at your side and enjoy the sun setting in. Even though the hotel itself is some way from both of the airports - hotel can organize a pick up/drop off ride for you or it is easy as well to book a taxi online with many respectible services.

Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options can also be requested. It is amazing place to be, but people be careful Sea there is not that see that people wanna see in Crete.

With a garden, the 5-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. The hotel features an indoor pool, spa centre and a 24-hour front desk. The staff was very helpful and the resort was so peaceful and beautiful.

Perfectly located on the Blue Flag Award winning sandy beach of Amoudara with stunning views from around the resort, Paralos Lifestyle Beach Adults Only features 5 sharing and 2 common seasonal outdoor swimming pools. Boasting a 24-hour front desk, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. Guests can make use of a garden. There was a mix up with the booking system regarding our arrival date, for which they had to put us in a dif hotel for 1 night. In return they upgraded us to a wet room and covered all of our drinks. I was extremely surprised at the level of care for the issue and cannot thank the manager Katerina and her team for treating us like they did. Thank you so much for making this birthday holiday so pleasant and special. The half board option was amazing, various food choices everyday. The traditional greak burger and chicken souvlaki were excellent.

Rooms are spacious, soundproofed, equipped with double glazed balcony doors and windows and external thermal insulation. All units have a balcony or terrace. Every room has a kitchenette, flat screen 32' TV with satellite channels, safe deposit box, kettle, slippers and hairdryer. Bathrooms are private and fitted with showers and hydro massage panels. Toiletries and bed linen are provided for your care.

Use of the gym is free, while there is a small spa-wellness centre with a spa bath and massage service. The use of the spa is by appointment and at extra charge. Great place to stay. Staff night and day were super nice and helpful. Nice quiet place, pool, breakfast etc. all great.

The spacious and bright rooms at Stella Village feature a furnished balcony overlooking the gardens. Each comes with a satellite TV, fridge and air conditioning.

Wellness options include water aerobics sessions, a football pitch and beach volleyball facilities. Younger guests can have fun at the 3 children’s pool, at the playground or participate in the games that the animation team organizes. There is so much to say about this hotel. To start we travelled as a couple and even though it is mainly a family-oriented hotel, it worked perfectly for us! Let’s go in depth for the ones that want to read: FACILITIES: The room we got was fantastic, double room with a balcony and separate toilet and shower. Mini fridge with new beverages almost every day was a nice touch. The pools scattered around the hotel were good, there were separate pools for Stella Village and Stella Palace. One Village pool was separated from the more children-focused ones and was great for us. The bars around were easy to find and use and the drinks and snacks were solid. Restaurants were clean although the main one had seating inside only which made it loud and not too comfortable. The waterpark was also very good, but maybe more for the children (we enjoyed it too :) ) COMFORT Beds and pillows were great, so were the sunbeds, both at the pools and by the beach, which also was a 2 minute walk from our room! LOCATION The hotel is right by the sea, and the beach is more than enough. Nearby is Analipsi, a town with many restaurants that held a super high standard with extremely good service. The service everywhere was really great! Supermarkets are nearby and souvenir shops too. Buses can be found close and the closest car rental was next door, can be recommended since we used it to rent a car for 2 days (50€/day) cheapest was 40€/day. CLEANLINESS The rooms were cleaned daily, the pools were also very clean and so were the restaurants. You could get new towels daily so to stay clean wasn’t a problem at all. VALUE FOR MONEY We booked quite far in advance and paid a good price for 8 nights. All in all I don’t think you could go wrong with the price we paid, the location and the experience we got! STAFF Unreal. 10/10! We first got a room on the ground floor which we thought was a bit unfortunate.

There are also a sauna and a hammam. Children enjoy their own pools, game rooms and playground. There is a baby room with toys and a kids’ club and a teenagers’ club are at disposal of younger guests, with daily activities planned for them.
