Hosts Lourdes and Alfred were wonderful, always helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. They completed renovations to open the hotel just over a year ago and did a fabulous job. The building is simple elegance. Our room was super comfortable. We had a rental car to visit the surrounding area and they provided convenient parking in a garage just down the street. They have a caldarium (small hot pool in a private room) which we reserved and thoroughly enjoyed. We only ate breakfast at the hotel twice in our week stay because we like to try everything when we travel. The breakfast Lourdes served was excellent. When we return to the Costa Brava, Can Mascort will be our home!

Located 50 metres from Begur’s main square, Hotel Sa Calma is a renovated 19th-century house with a free rooftop hot tub. All rooms feature a chromotherapy bath and shower. Lovely boutique hotel in the old town of Begur so everything is very near by. A great deal of effort has gone into creating a very comfortable and interesting hotel to stay in. The common areas on the first floor particularly are a wonderful place to sit and pass the time. I highly recommend this hotel
