Wake up each morning to a rich breakfast buffet. You can relax in the hotel bar at any time of the day or night. I recently stayed at the Central hotel and it was simply wonderful. The suite was spacious and even had a small kitchen, which I really appreciated. Everything was so clean and beautiful, with amenities like body scrub and conditioner, in addition to the usual shampoo and soap. The room was sparkling clean. Breakfast was delightful—sophisticated and stylish. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. There is convenient parking right at the hotel, and the service was excellent. I highly recommend this hotel.

Every day the view from our balcony looked more beautiful. We were lucky to have stayed a week in November when it was bright sunshine so we were able to take advantage of the beautiful surroundings. Cycling is so easy as the hotel really is in the middle of the forest but glad we had e-bikes as steep slopes all around. The bridge directly into the forest was an instant immersion into to Schwarzwald. We also took advantage of the wellness program and did qi-jong in the fresh air and reminded ourselves to slow down and breathe! The food was delicious and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Big shout out to our waitress Anna too.

It is relatively easy to travel to Hinterzarten by public transport and the hotel is within 10 mins walk from the railway station. The forest trails start within less than 100 meters from the hotel. There are great many forest walks and lots of things to do in the area.
