We found a clean, spacious, quiet, and comfortable room with everything we needed. The kitchen is very well-equipped too. Located at walking distance from Potrero beach, and just minutes from other nearby beaches (the sunset at Penca was stunning). The pool is tempered with easy access and just the right size and depth to relax and have a good time with our son, and to top it up, our hosts; Daniel and Charlotte, made us feel right at home with their warm touch. We also booked a Gyrocopter tour (Daniel is the pilot) overseeing several beaches, recommended if you are looking to experience some adventure as well. We will be coming back as frequently as possible.

Bungalows of different sizes and facilities are scattered throughout the forest. We stayed in the spacious centre bungalows with large panoramic windows overlooking the forest, a seating area and an outdoor shower. All furnished to a high standard, wonderful bed and bed linen. There is an (empty) fridge and daily small fresh bottles of water and air conditioning. We only met very friendly and helpful people. The whole atmosphere is very relaxed and the location above the gorge, the beautiful architecture and design do the rest. We stayed at the lodge at the beginning of December. At this time of year, the dry forest is full of leaves and particularly beautiful. You should know that this is not the case at the end of the dry season. The food was very good and the selection of dishes offers enough variety even if you are there for several days. From our point of view, the price-performance ratio is also good. The (cold and warm) pools and the thermal river where you can enjoy the warm water in a natural environment are wonderful. There are monkeys but unfortunately few other animals, especially few birds compared to other areas in Costa Rica. However, this is due to the dry forest ecosystem. Due to its proximity to the airport in Liberia, the lodge is a good place to end a trip to Costa Rica.

This property is a beachfront hotel that has an outdoor pool, spa facilities and massage services. It also features meeting rooms, gardens and on-site shops. It Is a fantastic boutique hotel. Atmosphere is great, facilities are excellent and the location is in the qiietest and best part of tamarindo and Just close go langosta. Rooms are fantastic but the overall atmosphere is the best thing

This adults-only boutique hotel offers stylish accommodations with ocean views and tropical gardens. Jardin del Eden also features a private beach garden located in the middle of Tamarindo beach. The food was outstanding. I was very happy with how quiet the place was considering the location. It was easy to access the beach and the local businesses.

Borinquen Thermal Resort is located in Rincon de la Vieja. If features Spanish-rustic décor villas, bungalows and Junior Suites, each of them featuring a private balcony with garden views. Fantastic location and facilities. The spa was unique, even with a natural hot spring sauna.

The Mexican restaurant is really good. The staff made our stay unforgettable: yoga with Dominique was great — she’s super kind, attentive, and always there if you need anything. Christian gave us great tips on places to visit, and Juanca gave us such a warm welcome. Highly recommended!
