The apartment had everything we needed for our stay. The location was brilliant, near the town centre and an easy walk to both train stations. It was a great base to explore interlaken and other parts of Switzerland.

We stayed at the hotel for a week and couldn't understand why its rating on Booking.com is only 8.4. The hotel met or exceeded our expectations on all fronts:

With amazing views to the Eiger from our room it was a wonderful overall experience. We have stayed at several hotels in Grindelwald in the past. This is the first one we want to come back to, and expect to do so twice a year.

The facilities were fantastic, particularly the spa area. The staff were incredibly friendly with a specific mention to Emily and Elaine.
The views are breathtaking.
The location to Lake Thun is ideal. Only a short walk away.
Free local bus into town just down the road.
Breakfast was okay without being amazing.
Dinner we had on two separate occasions was excellent.
The apartment we stayed in was very impressive. Much better than the photos. Larger than expected.

Fantastic location, so easy to get to the mountains via public transport. Very well thought through, lots of small touches to make the stay better. We used the gym & sauna, the hot tub was temporarily out of use. Very well equipped kitchen, & also near lots of restaurants. Thanks to very helpful hosts, too.
