Great views of the mountains around. The skiing conditions were not that great at Christmas time so we had to travel where to snow was. Luckily within 30 min there are plenty of options. The apartment was warm, comfortable, clean and the kitchen fully equipped. Even had a chance to use the in-house sauna. That was amazing!!!

We used the gym to which had good modern equipment and a great view!

Herr Kaltschmid and the staff was very kindful; there was an error during reservation, because The Walchseer Hof has been started the season on 22/12/2023 but I booked my stay from 21st (too early ;) ) Herr Kaltschmid booked in my behalf a room in another hotel, located nearby - I paid for both places at the end in Walchseer Hof. I really appreciate that I could stay in Walchsee as planned not looking for one-night-stand by myself... A food for breafasts and dinners was local, high quality; I recommend cheese and specks and for dinner: deer and/or trout (the trout was Weltklasse :) ). It was our first but for sure not last stay there. Danke!

For children and young adults the gaming area with billiard, foosball table and other entertainment are ideal. Newly built hotel that is part of Das Walchsee hotel which is 10 min walk. The down side which wasn't clear at Booking.Com website is that the SPA and wellness area is in the hotel at the city. Again 10 min walk but not at the same space. When it's raining not a pleasant walk with the bathrobe from one location to the other. Except for that the lakeside hotel is really remarkable.
