This was my very first cruise, and Calista truly exceeded my expectations. We stayed in a Junior Suite with a stunning sea view that opened up to the entire bay. Everything was excellent. Staff Johnny and Jacky were awesome they ensure all our needs were taken care. The best part was we got upgraded to best suite on our second day and room is awesome. Spa staff Huang was excellent in giving massage. The cruise has arranged village tour on 2nd day of stay and it was great too. Tour guide Jay was wonderful and hard working person. We will definitely be back and recommend Velar to our family and friends. This is what you call hospitality as Vietnamese people are awesome.

I went on a 3-day, 2-night cruise, and it was absolutely incredible. The boat is super luxurious, the food is fantastic, the pool is warm, and the sundeck offers a wonderful happy hour. This is by far the best cruise to experience in Ha Long Bay. Duck, our waiter, was outstanding, and the entire crew was exceptional. Pearl suite is unbelievably beautiful. The views from the room are magnificent. The food was superb and the staff were so friendly! The activities planned were wonderful, we especially enjoyed kayaking!
