A truly excellent motel - absolute cleanliness and comfort, with incredibly attentive hosts. The breakfast was simply outstanding, and the whole place had such a warm, homey feel. After staying somewhere like this, it’s hard to go back to soulless hotels – so consider yourself warned! :) We absolutely loved our stay. Our stay in Rotorua was simply fantastic. Our family immediately felt at home. It's a really great house. The kitchen is superbly equipped. My husband even baked bread. We had breakfast at the large dining table and celebrated Christmas. Everything was clean. There were fresh clean towels for everyone and the beds were very comfortable. The small garden around the house is simply marvellous. You can spend cosy hours on the sun lounger. My husband really enjoyed the whirlpool. As you have to do laundry on a long journey, I was very happy to be able to use a washing machine. There were plenty of places to hang up the washing. We really enjoyed our stay and would book the house again at any time. The contact with the landlord was also great. We forgot our binoculars and were informed immediately. Many thanks for this great house, the beautiful garden and the hospitality. We also wrote a few lines in the guest book.

Everything was excellent. The lady who manages the suites could not have been more helpful. Great location to access all the incredible sights in Rotorua.

The Princes Gate is a historical, boutique-style hotel in the centre of Rotorua. This classical 4-star hotel is opposite the Polynesian Spa and the famous Government Gardens.
