Staying at Mango Tree House was astonishing. I highly recommend to stay there if you are planning to visist Udawaluwa national park. At first we thought that location is not going to be the best one, but when we arrived, I understood that it is perfect for this town. There is nothing much to do in the town, so this is perfect place to stay if you want to go to safari and relax. Sachith, his wife and their cute doggy is very friendly and welcoming. Dinner and breakfast here is excellent (especially dinner)! House is cosy, clean and bright thanks to the large windows along the entire wall. Sachith organised very good safari tour for us - I can definitely recommend his safari guys :) The owner also drove us to the towns bus stop and suggested the best way to get to our destination.

Our favourite stay in Sri Lanka so far, would recommend everyone stay here, even just for one night. The hosts were so friendly and helpful with everything and arranged a once in a lifetime safari tour for us with the BEST guide! They prepared a great breakfast for us and also a fabulous lunch on our safari. The food was so nice we asked them to prepare a takeaway box for us to take on check out. The room is also super clean and the only place we’ve had a hot shower so far!

Cottage located in the peacful area surronded by nature, we were hosted by a very friendly family. Pasindu and his wife made sure that we are comfortable and are not lacking anything. We also enjoyed tasty home made food for dinners and breakfast in large amounts, there was always more than we could eat ;) The cottage itself was also comfortable, not lacking anything, there was even a hair dryer. It was also possible to get a breakfast as a take away for early Safari, which was important to us. The family was also helpful with advice about area. Out of all our stays in Sri Lanka so far this was definitely most special.

Wow… we loved the stay in city elephant family resort. We stayed one night with our 2 kids and we felt like we spent the night in our own house. The breakfast was delicious. The room was very spacious, clean, cosy and Beautifully arranged for us to have a good night sleep. Highly recommend this beautiful family resort to others who would like to spend nights during your holidays with your family. The staff was really friendly and treated us so well. We will definitely be back next year for our next holiday in Sri Lanka.

Very nice and friendly host. We were met with tea and bananas - it's so important after a long way. This place in Udalawawe has fair price because when we were trying to book a room in other places for the prices we saw on the site, later it came obvious that the prices are actual only if you also book safari in this or that exact place. In Olivi palace you see the real price, if you don't need safari, it's okay. It was perfectly clean. The design of the room is sweat and nice. The place is very close to Elephant transit home.

Very nice please and extremely friendly hosts. We did a 4 hours safari with Hashan as well as had dinner and breakfast. The food was delicious and plentiful! The room has aircon, warm water and the house itself is located in a quiet street. We would stay again!
