Great staff and very beautiful

It was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the beautiful location and the serene atmosphere. The resort is set in an idyllic beachfront setting, offering stunning views of the ocean. The staff was incredibly friendly. The rooms were spacious and impeccably clean. Waking up to the sound of the waves and the fresh sea breeze was an absolute treat. The resort offers a variety of activities, and I thoroughly enjoyed spending time at the pool and exploring the beach. The food was another highlight. The resort’s restaurant offers a wide range of delicious, high-quality dishes, catering to different tastes. Overall, my stay exceeded my expectations, this resort offers the ultimate getaway.

This place iMawe Zuri is a pearl. I appreciated the friendliness and hospitality of all the staff. This is a peaceful haven with a very appeasing sea view, which I was able to enjoy from the restaurant every day, both morning and evening. The restaurant's menu is delightful. I reccomand to try the mango shrimp and rice. There are also has a spa with massage offers, à gym and swimming pools. If you prefer the white sand ans wave Mawe is close to the beach. Bonus : and they can help you organising your excursions with a local guide and airport transfert from Mombasa and Malindi.

Amazing location Great facilities Wonderful friendly staff

We stayed in a room for 2 people equipped with kettle for tea/coffee, AC, bed with insect nets, security box and a spacious bathroom with a big standing shower. The rooms feel rustic in many ways but are working for what are the basic needs. There is hot water, the lights work without a problem and the AC is modern and works without a problem. The bathroom has soap, shower gel, extra toilet paper and clean towels. Room gets cleaned every day and also insect repellent is applied after cleaning. One should be more careful if the apartment is located on the first floor that in the mornings, when it's cooler, there might be an encounter with monkeys that are passing by. They are not harmful. The food at the restaurants is very good. We had food at the inner restaurant, by the pool. Everything was tasty and well prepared. From pasta to seafood, all was delicious. The breakfast was always very good there as well. We also had food at the bar with the small pool, beach beds and direct access to the beach. There one can order small sandwiches and pizza. We found food to be delicious and filling if we had a bigger than usual breakfast. The pools were all cleaned and well maintained. Every pool has enough beds in the area, enough showers near the pool and the bathrooms near them are spotless. The beach in front of the resort is well kept. The number of people trying to promote their business is kept to a minimum and they are understanding of you give a clear signal that you are not interested. At the resort, one can also book trips around the area. We booked a trip to Marafa to see Hell's Kitchen. Everything went smoothly from pick-up, experience there and drop off. Our driver Nix did an excellent job. The bars are all well equipped and cocktails are generous. The staff is always helpful, kind and approachable. The beach towels can be returned every day or at the end of the day one can request new, fresh ones.

The staff: Peter, Gideon, Juma and Patrick at reception were courteous, fulfilled all our wishes and communicated very well with the relevant departments. We immediately felt at home. As I am vegan, it is a bit difficult for me here in Kenya to always choose something from the menu. The waiter Dena was very courteous, understanding, helpful and very knowledgeable. He went through the menu with me every day and always gave me very good advice so that the chef could cook it. Employees like him should be encouraged and appreciated more. Waiter Robert always gave us something to laugh about at the bar and the drinks were very good. No headaches the next day, he was a pleasure to work with. Many thanks to Sofia from the breakfast service, she always had a smile on her face and sweetened our day so we could start the day well. Margaret's pancakes are a must at Medina Palms, they are delicious. Mercy, our housekeeping queen. She wowed us every day with new room decorations Always very lovingly done now I can say I have always slept on cloud nine at Medina Palms. Thank you, Queen Mercy. An appeal to the management of Medina Palms staff to show more encouragement and appreciation the facilities and location are not worth 5 stars for me. The heart of Medina Palms is the staff. Amazing location with lush grounds and expansive options to maximize the holiday vibe. Stunning water views, private beach, beautiful open air gym and yoga classes, huge pool, watersports, gear, and tours available onsite. The wifi was excellent when switching from weekend relaxation to virtual work. Incredible team of staff members!

We had a wonderful 10 days. The staff was fantastic. Linda, Amos, and Fatma were really helpful at all times. We also got the greatest sea food spaghetti ever, compliments to the chef. Every day, the room was cleaned, and the staff ensured that the resort's facilities were always immaculate. As a result, the entire menu is wonderful; we particularly like the way the steak was delivered, and the cooking time was ideal (as said, the chef is the best). Even though the resort is 3 minutes by tuk tuk from the beach, this was not an issue for us. We could easily walk there, but we prefer to use the tuk tuk every time. The closest beach is the greatest in Watamu, and it is very clean and peaceful. If you want to rest, no one will disturb you. The owner, Manni was always around and ready for a chat. Throughout dinner, he is constantly there to ensure that everything is in order and that clients are satisfied with the food/service. I tried their one-hour massage service, and I must say it was wonderful. If we return to Kenya, we will undoubtedly stay at this resort.
