The flat was spacious and comfortable. Nothing was missing from it. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. The most wonderful thing was the large terrace with an automatically opening awning. And then there's that view of Lake Como.... The facility has on-site parking.

This was our third stay at Casa Olea Hotel — and once again, it was pure bliss. The hotel is a little oasis right by the lake, thoughtfully designed with a calm, minimalist aesthetic. Natural materials and clean lines make it the perfect place to unwind. This time, we stayed in a room with lake view, and waking up to that scenery from bed was simply amazing. We also love that the hotel is located away from the overly touristy parts of Lake Como. The atmosphere feels more relaxed, with great options for running, cycling, windsurfing, kitesurfing, and some fantastic restaurants nearby.

Very clean and modern. A spacious apartment with loads of storage space and one of the most dog friendly places we have ever stayed. There is no outside space for the dogs in the apartment block but the edge of the lake and a small dog friendly area is only 200 paces away. When we arrived they had provided two dog beds and food bowls for our two Jack Russell’s

It was peaceful and beautifully maintained/renovated. It had everything you could possibly need or want. The pool and outside area was amazing, the staff went over and above to make sure we were happy (nothing was too much trouble) and all the staff were friendly, helpful and eager to please. The food was delicious, the included breakfast was ideal and the whole place was spotless - what more could you ask for?! We didn’t use the spa but I’m sure that would have been great too. Just a perfect peaceful base to visit Menaggio, Belaggio and Como from. We loved the 11am check out and we were so grateful to the owner who let us in well after the last check in time as we were delayed. The animals at the house were very friendly and no bother at all - super cute dogs especially. We would recommend this to anyone!

Right on the northern shore of Lake Como, Hotel Risi provides free parking and nicely decorated rooms with free wired internet. The centre of Colico is 200 metres away.

This is an excellent hotel with gorgeous views. It is situated in the Northeast side of Lake Como in Colico - one of the quieter towns. It is a bit "far" from other traditionally popular towns around the lake but very much worth it. The staff were really nice and friendly, food at the restaurant for dinner (and the eggs for breakfast - cooked upon request) was delicious. We stayed in October so it's off-season (pool was understandably closed) but I can only imagine what it's like during summer. If you have an electric car, they have a charger too. Really glad we stayed here.
