Absolute wonderful stay at Hotel Royal Victoria! We had a very nice moment here, the place is perfect, on the lake and well situated in Varenna. The pool, the breakfast, and activities were nice. The hotel is so lovely and quiet. Rita picked us from train station and we spent lovely time there. The walk trail to city is a little bit steep but it is not far away from city center so it was fine for us. Food was delicious and we spent great time there.

Everything was perfect, the hotel was beautiful and in a great location (5 mins walk from the center so it was near but not too loud). The room was gorgeous and breakfast was delicious. We particularly loved the spa where we enjoyed the sauna, steam room and salt room, as well as the outdoor heated jacuzzi. It is expensive but worth it!

The room was very generous with terrace/balcony overlooking the beautiful lake. Very quiet location. Everything was hassle free with a big deal of flexibility. Staff could not have been nicer. Lovely food and atmosphere in the restaurant. Would go back in a heartbeat!
