Incredible hotel with a very refined colonial decoration. The bronze Ganesh as well as the Sarasvati are beautiful. The spa is beautiful to receive quality Ayurvedic treatments. The room was furnished to a high standard, quiet and comfortable. Check in was directly in the room and welcoming, smooth and efficient. Tea and coffee were brought promptly to the room. Dinner was superb and the chef immediately embraced our feedback when we informed him we prefer less salt. All in all another great experience. Appreciated the pick up from the airport after a long flight. When our train to Kalka was cancelled at the last moment the concierge made all the arrangements over night to make sure we had a car and driver on hand to drive from New Delhi to Shimla so we could get a good night’s rest and not worry about anything. Takeaway breakfast boxes were excellent.
