The rooms were immaculate, the staff were super friendly and the jungle atmosphere was amazing :) they also had a super chef that cooked the breakfasts every morning and Ami was fantastic and took us on a great walk through the rice paddies with a great coconut refreshment. I would also highly recommend Ami’s brother for any trips you might need to take with a taxi :)

This place was so beautiful. Secluded from other guests. So relaxing. The staff welcomed us with some history of the location. They brought our breakfast to the room each day. The private pool was warm and gorgeous. We had a floating breakfast the last day. The robes were comfy. They arranged a scooter for us. They were always available by phone or whatsapp and quick to respond. We left our charger in the room at check out and they promptly called us to let us know.

This property was welcoming from the start. We were early for our 2pm checkin, and our accommodation was available when we arrived. We had asked for a river view suite. We were upgraded to a jungle view suite. This suite was amazing. It was so tranquil and beautiful. This suite came with an outdoor plunge bath and outdoor seating. It was just so relaxing using the plunge bath and nothing nicer than having a beverage on the deck, and we used them every day. The suite was very clean and inviting. All the staff, referred to as the team and my friend by all members, were welcoming, polite and so friendly. The restaurant was beautiful. The menu was great and delicious. The prices were reasonable and the atmosphere was calming.

This place exceeded my rather high expectations - I had such a wonderful stay here. The location is stunning with breathtaking jungle views and sounds - so lovely. The pool area is the best to suck it all in. Or from your own terrace if you have a room with jungle view. The staff is incredible, very service minded and attentive in a pleasant, discrete way. Thank you so much for your warm welcome and hospitality. I had an aroma therapy massage and facial at the Spa which were very good value for money too. The hotel itself is designed beautifully with a lot of taste and character. If that is not enough there is Indonesian art everywhere with explanations about its origins. It is done in a very tasteful and subtle way, if you are interested you can take a lot of enjoyment from looking around because literally everywhere you find beautiful art pieces. But if you are not the art just blends in with the furniture. I climbed mount Bartou to see the sunrise organised by Awan and that was absolutely worthwhile too. Crowded with other tourists though which I personally thought was a pleasant variation to the peace and quiet of the villa but if you want to avoid any crowds go bushwalking or explore other more quiet activities. Absolutely amazing place and I definitely hope to be back.
