The bar and salon area were beautiful. The grounds and hiking trails had splendid vistas. The spa was excellent. Work out circuit in the forest was unique and challenging.

Set halfway between Lorient and Larmor-Plage, this 4-star hotel is just a 5-minute drive from the beach.

The hotel is on the lake with access straight onto the path that goes around the whole lake. A perfect distance for a walk or run around as you can do the whole lake (approx 5 miles) or just half (approx 2.5 miles) if you head across the bridge. We had a room with a lake view, which is a must, it was wonderful to sit on the balcony and look over the lake. The shower was great and the bed was super comfortable, we slept very well all week. The spa is great and open from 6.30am - 10.30pm, we used it each night at 8pm and had it to ourselves. There is a small sauna and steam room, both only take a short time to start up if they haven’t been used for a while with clear instructions on how to use them. The pool is a really good size and a great temperature. There were always plenty of clean towels for use. The hotel was perfectly located for us, being very central to the places we wanted to explore, Vannes, Auray, Quimper, Quiberon (Plage de Lizeau is a gorgeous dog friendly beach), Pont Aven and Concarneau. The hotel is incredibly dog friendly, our cocker spaniel was really comfortable there and there was a little treat and dog bowl for our arrival. There was a little fridge in the room which was handy for cold drinks / milk for coffee. Staff were all incredible helpful and kind. Fyi - the Intermarché over the bridge is nicer than the Leclerc! We didn’t use the restaurant or have breakfast so can’t comment on that.

Very friendly and welcoming hosts, very fine restaurant (delicious oysters!) for dinner, great breakfast. Very tastefully re-modelled, very spacious room, free parking out front, within a stone's throw to the fort and waterfront, and the laid-back attitude of Port-Louis (seaside harbour town) is felt everywhere, very relaxing! All in all a lovely location and very pleasant stay.

Modern, clean, stylish. Hot tub on the decking was great. Kitchen and bathroom facilities excellent. We really enjoyed our stay there. Location was excellent, near to Quimperlé and not far from the coast. Great for exploring Brittany. Lovely patisserie nearby.
